Lanerolle Brothers perform “Live V” in style

annual anniversary show. Titled “Live V” the sold-out show was a major milestone for the singing siblings who have been performing together as a duo since 2009.
Well-known for their melting harmonies the brothers are also famous for their stylishly organised dinner shows always performed on a grand 
scale. “This year’s show will be centred on the theme of five” Ishan had hinted and true enough, the evening saw finesse at every aspect of the show from the sumptuous five course meal to the elegant “V” sculptured table centrepieces. The performances took the brothers down memory lane singing favourites from their previous shows along with requests from the crowd .The audience re- visited classics such as “The Prayer” and “Spanish Eyes” sung in their signature harmony.
In keeping with the celebratory mood the show was divided into segments with each segment hosted by the comperes of the previous “Live” shows, starting off with Mohamed Adamaly, Ashok Ferrey, Kumar De Silva and Arun Dias Bandaranaike. Stretching over almost three hours the comperes shared their own personal stories of the brothers while the duo themselves added to the entertainment with their own brand of charm and wit, with the audience eagerly joining in the singing.
