Revan Kelly shines at Mini Battle of the Saints
View(s):Fifteen-year-old Josephian left hander Revan Kelly stole the thunder in the annual Mini Battle of the Saints cricket encounter between St. Joseph’s and St. Peter’s which was played last week at Darley Road. Opener Kelly top scored for the Josephians in both innings with scores of 43 and 82.
SJC batting first were shot out for 141 while the visitors replied with 204. Peterites allrounder Manelka de Silva top scored with 64, while Josephian medium pacer Thashan Perera was the pick of the bowlers claiming 6 for 60. In their secod innings St. Joseph’s were 218 for 7 with Kelly top stroking a stylish 82.
