Cinnamon Air’s “6 tickets for the price of 3″ offer
View(s):Cinnamon Air, Sri Lanka’s premier domestic airline, operating out of its dedicated terminal at BIA, on Wednesday announced the launch of the “Cinnamon Air Pass” which offers six tickets for the price of three.
The “Cinnamon Air Pass” caters exclusively to Sri Lankan nationals, corporates, the diplomatic community and expatriates resident in Sri Lanka and is a special package of advance purchase fares tailored with frequent domestic flyers in mind. In a media statement, the airline company said all eligible passengers and organisations can purchase a special package of “6 tickets for the price of 3″ on any scheduled Cinnamon Air flights.
“Cinnamon Air Pass fares are available to one named traveller and up to three nominees for travel on any chosen sector in either direction,” it said.
Romesh David, Director, Cinnamon Air said Cinnamon Air has seen a steady increase in the number of passengers, mainly foreign tourist travellers on their scheduled flights. He observed that there had been growing requests from frequent travellers within the local corporate and expatriate business community and holidaymakers, for Cinnamon Air to provide a stress free, time efficient and value for money alternative to road travel, which prompted the introduction of these new fares across all of Cinnamon Air’s scheduled routes.
Cinnamon Air operates daily scheduled flights from its base at the Bandaranaike International Airport and in some cases Waters Edge, to key destinations across the country including Kandy, Sigiriya, Trincomalee, Batticaloa, Dickwella and Koggala. Cinnamon Air Pass fares are available for purchase on all these routes.
Cinnamon Air, owned and operated by Saffron Aviation (Pvt) Ltd, is a joint venture between John Keells Holdings, MMBL Leisure Holdings and Phoenix Ventures. The airline operates a fleet of two Cessna 208 amphibian aircraft and one Cessna 208B Grand Caravan aircraft.
