A taste of the Middle East
View(s):Hilton Colombo Residences launched its Middle Eastern food promotion under the theme of “Flavours of the Middle East” at its poolside restaurant, Verandah Bistro.
This buffet promotion for dinner will be held from March 20 until April 5 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m and will offer diners an array of authentic dishes from the Middle East. “Middle Eastern cuisine is well-loved by Sri Lankans; we believe that by having the guest chef from Hilton Cairo, Egypt we would be able to offer authenticity,” said executive chef Priyal Wijesuriya. American Express cardmembers will enjoy 30% savings on total food bills for the food promotion.
Salad-lovers are in for a treat with a range that consists of ‘Hummus with Tahena’, ‘Tabbouleh’, ‘Baba Ghanoush’, ‘Moutabel’, ‘Fattoush Salad’, ‘Labneh’ and ‘Moushara Salad’. The Hot Appetizers ‘Kobeba’, ‘Sambousek’, ‘Cheese Fatayer’ and ‘Falafel’ are not to be missed.
The dining offer will consist of main buffet items such as ‘Lamb Stew with Okra’, ‘Kofta Kebabs ‘Lamb Fata’, ‘Veal Stew with Vegetables’, ‘Veal Kamounia’, ‘Kebab Halla’, ‘Molokhia Chicken’, ‘Sharkasia Chicken’, ‘Dawood Pasha’, ‘Fish Sayadieh’ and ‘Moussaka’ amongst many others. The Carving station will include ‘Roast Lamb Leg on Vermicelli, Nuts & Fried Garlic’, ‘Roast Turkey’, and ‘Ouzi with Oriental Rice’.
The buffet is priced at Rs. 3,100 nett per person.
