Juniors’ Music Concert at RC
View(s):The Juniors’ Music Concert of the students of The Russian School of Music was held at the Russian Centre Auditorium recently Eighty students from the age 6 took part in the concert displaying their talents on Piano, Violin, Guitar, Flute, Recorder and Vocal. The students were taught and guided by the well experienced teachers attached to the RCC namely, Cleone Leitan, Kishani Amarasekera, Premila Perrippanayagam, Sashika Rupasiri, Mrs. Lilibeth Feranando, Rozali Fernando, Tania De Zilwa, Eshanthika Fernando, Dayananda Fernando and Warrenton Abeywardena.
The Concert was organized for the students to display their talents, build confidence and to encourage the students to spend their leisure with a meaning full past time.
The Chief Guest for the evening was Moiseeva – the Directress of The Russian School in Colombo. Andery Nazarkin – Counsellor of The Embassy of The Russian Federation, Buddhapriya Ramanayake CEO. of the Russian Centre, Chandi Aluvihare – Cultural Officer were some of the distinguish invitees for the evening along with, parents and well wishers. The certificates were awarded to all the participants.
