World Water Day 2014 Junior Quiz
View(s):The World Water Day 2014 Junior Quiz jointly organized by Funday Times and the International Water Management Institute (IWMI) was held on
April 5, 2014 at the IWMI Auditorium in Battaramulla.
Teams from 32 schools, from the Western Province participated in the quiz. Two semi-finals with 16 teams each, were conducted and five top teams from each semi-final were selected for the Final Quiz.
Lyceum International School, Nugegoda emerged winners of the Gold Trophy while C.M.S. Ladies College won the Silver Trophy and Ananda College, Colombo won the Bronze Trophy.
The winning teams received their trophies and certificates from James Clarke, Director, Communication and Marketing IWMI. The winning school was also presented with a set of Encyclopedias, while the members of the team received Nikon cameras and accessories. The 2nd Place team members received MP3 players while the 3rd Place received book vouchers.

of Participation as well as souvenirs in appreciation.
It was an interesting and enjoyable day for all participants.
