National Lanka Finance moves to Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1
View(s):Central Bank-regulated finance company Nation Lanka Finance has revamped its back office financial management system, now having moved to Oracle E-Business Suite 12.1.
According to the 25-year-old registered finance company’s Chief Financial Officer Prasanna Habaragamuwa, “One of the key features of Oracle E-Business-Suite 12.1 is that it delivers critical information across many departments, thereby enabling an information-driven value chain which is crucial for an organisation such as Nation Lanka Finance. The new ERP system has blended in with our existing IT infrastructure and connected our 22 branches, enabling us to reduce back-office costs and facilitate the necessary financial control and corporate governance to ensure superior service”.
Implemented by Oracle Gold level partner DMS Software Technologies, the product improves the company’s “operational efficiency, enabling it to automate its management and financial accounting system”. It also gives “Nation Lanka Finance an end-to-end view of its financial performance and [provides] them with the most complete and integrated financial management solutions for finance operations; governance, risk, and compliance; and performance management”, commented Chandi Samaranayake, the Country Head for Application Business at Oracle Sri Lanka and Maldives.
Meanwhile, DMS also noted that it had, to date, put in place 20 or more Oracle E-Business Suite solutions in Sri Lanka, for clients ranging from “corporate giants to multifaceted government agencies”.
