‘This is not a gun’ comes to Lumbini

Playwright G. Chamila Priyaka’s theatrical production ‘Meya Thuwakkuwak Neme’ (This is not a gun) will be staged today May 4 at 7 pm at Lumbini theatre, Colombo.
Scripted and directed by Priyanka, the play talks about the deep and intricate realities like how people become ambitious about their lives while seeing the deaths of those around them.
Meya Thuwakkuwak Neme’ is played by Mayura Perera, Dilum Buddhika, Promod Edirisinghe, Kanishka Fernando, Yashodha Rasaduni and Anjana Premaratne.
In the technical crew make up is by Palitha Abeylal, lighting by Hiran Abeysekera and Lahiru Ratnayake, stage management by Sameera Wimalasiri and stage setting by Lakshani Ameratunga and Biyanka Hansani.
