An evening with T20 champs
View(s):The celebratory mood surrounding Sri Lanka’s Twenty20 World Championship triumph was resurrected at the Taj Samudra on Thursday, when several cricketers from the victorious team were hosted for a soiree at the hotel. The reception was hosted by President of the Executive Committee of Sri Lanka Cricket Jayantha Dharmadasa and the Director Operations, TAL Hotels and Resorts and General Manager of the Taj Samudra Rohit Khosla.
Swapping their playing jerseys for more stylish attire, the group of players- which included Mahela Jayawardene, Angelo Matthews, Lahiru Thirimanne and Rangana Herath- exuded much of their on-field composure as they mingled with their fellow guests late into the night.
