Traveller Global ‘B’ ends AST ‘A’ reign
Traveller Global ‘B’ ended the four year reign of Aitken Spence Travels’ ‘A’ when they emerged the new champions at the 13th Travel Trade Sports Club Bowling Championship for 2014 worked off at the Strikes Cosmic Bowling Centre, Excel World , Colombo 10.
Amaya Resorts and Spas sponsored the tournament.
Aitken Spence Travels ‘A’ who held the title since 2010 came in fourth with 392 points. Exotic Holidays International ‘C’ came in 3rd with 401 points (Rushan Fuard 107, Suendra Perera 116 and Rizwan Mannan (178)
The second place was annexed by Go-Holidays with 405 points – (Duminda Kuluwitaarachchi 170, Kosala 144 and Dileepa Weeraskera 112).
Traveller Global ‘B’ bowled themselves to first place with 420 points (Dilshan De Silva 111, Imran Saleem 144 and Sameera Fernando 165).
Awards were presented by TTSC officials, Denesh De Silva, president, Bonita Odayar, Senior VP, Sadhana Vikrantha VP and Dilshan Gnanapragasam, committee member/tournament co-odinator. – BM
