Pizza Workshop
View(s):Winners of a competition by Trekurious Kids in the Funday Times, were fortunate to participate in a Kids’ Pizza Workshop organized by Trekurious on Saturday May 24, 2014. The workshop was held at Bayleaf.
The kids were given the recipe and watched keenly while the Chef demonstrated the mixing of the pizza dough which had to be left for four hours. They were then shown how to roll and assemble the pizza. Each child was given a ready mixed ball of dough to make their own pizza. The ingredients were laid out and the children had fun putting in whatever they fancied on their pizzas. When the pizzas were ready, they trooped in to the kitchen with the chef to put the pizzas in the oven.
Soon the yummy looking pizzas were brought back packed in boxes. The young chefs identified their own pizza by the toppings. They all opted to take the pizzas home to share with their family. It was indeed a fun workshop.
