Cavalry Supercross next Sunday
View(s):Sri Lanka’s top drivers and riders will be in action at the 5th Cavalry Supercross at the Army Track in Pangolla, Kurunegala next Sunday. The Cavalry Supercross has priority as an annual event in the Sri Lanka Armoured Corps’ calendar as they seek the expertise of Sri Lanka Autosport Drivers’ Association (SLADA) in turning the raceday into a real treat.
The event has also gained recognition as a major sporting event in local motor racing calendar and is much looked forward by the sports lovers of the area. Spectators will be able to witness 23 grueling events at Pangolla, where the track is a real challenge for the competitors. Funds raised from the event will be utilized for the wellbeing of the members and families of the Armoured Corps who were affected by the three-decade long war.
