Hotel Show 2014 gets interactive
View(s):The hospitality and partner industries participated at the recently concluded Hotel Show 2014 held at the BMICH in Colombo that had a more interactive tone to the event with the introduction of a barista and pizza making competition, a media release issud by Sri Lanka Tourism stated.
Hotel Show was organised by the Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association (CHSGA) together with Lanka Exhibition and Conference Services. A student counter managed by the Sri Lanka Institute of Tourism and Hotel Management (SLITHM) dedicated to providing career guidance at the event was also available, it was stated.
The exhibition with over 280 exhibitors showcased portfolios covering aspects of the industry including in-room technology, laundry, air conditioning, hygiene and catering, architecture, gardening, landscaping, outdoor furniture, swimming pools, waste management, software systems and modern security systems and a wide array of hotel supplies, the release said.
