At least, in Larwood’s time, there was only one offender, but here we had four Plunket, Jordan, Broad and Anderson, each one trying, not to get the batsman out, but to knock him out! Fortunately, no S.L. batsman was seriously injured. Enough will be written about Sangakkara, but success was due to the eleven playing as a team. However, I must single out Kausal, who not only has the ability, but the nerve to succeed.

I am afraid the umpiring left a lot to be desired, and I was surprised that they allowed some of the bowlers to carry on as they did.
