Sparkling Stars of Gateway College
View(s):It was a night of stars as Gateway College presented ‘Sparkling Stars 2014’ at the Nelum Pokuna Theatre on June 20 and 21. The story of the Hat Seller and the mischievous monkeys was brought to life along with the beloved tales of the Three Bears, the Enormous Turnip and the Frog Prince.
The stage came alive with singing dwarves, dancing froggies who kept in time to disco tunes while cracking jokes along the way.
Day two saw the kids from Key Stage 2 showcasing the Kings and Queens of Sri Lanka along with the arrival of the British and the birth of railroads and tea.
