What the SL Navy men’s four lacked in style and technique was compensated with their power gripped strokes, which earned them an easy win at in the open category (6.38) while SL Army women’s four displayed their superiority over others rowing to the finishing line with clear crisp strokes clocking in at (8.01) in the open category.

The Air Force women’s sculler rowed a spectacular course, with powerful finish. Although Colombo Rowing Club sculler fought hard till the last 300m but failed to match R.A.M. Dilhari’s powerful strokes.

The Moratuwa undergrad women completed the season in a high note with a praiseworthy performance in both fours and scull events. Giving their forces opponents tough competition, Moratuwa women’s sculler scored a comfortable victory clocking in at (8.40).
The schoolboy Sculler, Hashen Hettigoda of Royal College perhaps gave the best performance of the day displaying perfectly mastered technique and a beautiful finish leaving the Thomian sculler tailing behind.

The Sculler was won by Samaakhya Gajanayake of Visakha Vidyalaya while under 18 championship was snatched away by Ladies college with two golds, one silver and one bronze medals while Royal College became under 18 champion snatching three golds one silver medal.
