on and industry professionals by storm at the recently concluded Premiere Orlando International beauty event in Orlando, Florida.

Dilan, owner of WebAppClouds LLC, introduced his trailblazing cloud-based APP known as SalonCloudPLus at this biggest ever beauty trade show in the US held at the Orange County Convention Center. The event was attended by over 55,000 people in the beauty industry from all the 50 US States and nearly 40 foreign countries.

The three-day show also featured the beauty industry’s big names including Tigi, Farouk, L’Oreal, Redken, Paul Mitchell, Aveda, Wella, Peter Coppola, Linda Yodice, Omar Antonio, Diva Paulos, Ricardo Dinis among others.

Amidst a phalanx of beauty related presentations and workshops Dilan made his mark by launching his ingenious mobile enterprise APP that is already taking the salon and spa industry to a new technological high.

SalonCloudsPlus ( www.saloncloudsplus.com) is an iPhone, iPad and Android App for better marketing, customer retention and revenue building.

According to Dilan, SalonCloudPlus was borne out of a dedication to fill a technology void that prevailed in the industry. He created this cloud-based software on a user-friendly platform that helps salons, stylists and distributors to effortlessly connect with their respective customers.

During his presentations in Orlando, Dilan gave the audience a peek into mobility that is shaping the salon industry today and tomorrow. He explained how the App would soon function as a mobile wallet.

Integrated with top-rated salon operating software systems including SalonBiz, Millennium, Spa Biz and Salon Iris, SalonCloudsPlus allows customers to buy gift cards, receive real-time promotions, use a digital frequent purchase card, receive appointment confirmations, share before-and-after photos on their social media platforms like Facebook and Twitter.

Besides providing GPS enabled driving directions the App incorporates the latest ‘geo-fencing’ technology that allows customers to receive automatic notification when they are within a two mile radius. This cool ‘near -alert’ facility allows salons and clients to get automatically connected when they are in neighbourhood proximity with information on special offers, useful reminders etc
Prior to the Orlando International beauty event, Dilan was invited to introduce his mobile technology at a major convention in Atlantic City.

In a recent issue the prestigious Salon Today magazine under the headline ” Business in the Cloud’ gave publicity to Dilan’s SalonCloudsPlus mobile innovation.

Besides a formidable client base in the US, Webappclouds has made some headway in Europe and SE Asia. Several reputed salons in Singapore have already opted to introduce SalonCloudPlus APP and Dilan plans to bring his innovative venture to the salon and spa industry to his homeland Sri Lanka in the near future.

His company WebAppClouds LLC has an experienced team of designers and developers to provide technological expertise in offering personalized services to individual salons. Its creative team is not only US based, but outsourced in France, Hungary and India.
