Ranjith Rubasinghe appointed CEO of Mobitel
View(s):Ranjith G. Rubasinghe, a senior officer at Sri Lanka Telecom (SLT), has been appointed as the Chief Executive Officer of SLT Mobitel with effect from June 27, the company announced this week.

Mr. Rubasinghe brings with him a wealth of experience in the fields of telecommunications and IT in several national and multinational organisations, including SLT for 12 years.
He is a Chartered Engineer, Representative Fellow of the Council and the Chairman of the Electrical and Electronic Engineering Sectional Committee of the Institution of Engineers, Sri Lanka (IESL) with a MBA from the University of Colombo, BSc in Engineering and Electrical Electronics and a Postgraduate Diploma in Engineering. Rubasinghe is also a certified member of the Sri Lanka Institute of Marketing (SLIM) and an associate member of the Institute of Personal Management (IPM).
At SLT, where he served for 12 years, he was the head of “RAINBOW PAGES” (2006-2008) and the Chief Executive Officer of SLT Manpower Solutions (Pvt) Ltd since 2008.
