Cinnamon Grand wins Chairman’s Trophy at Battle of the Spices
View(s):Cinnamon Grand Hotel defeated Cinnamon Lakeside by eight wickets and thus bagged the Chairman’s Trophy at the tenth edition of annual ‘Battle of the Spices’ encounter between the two hotels.
In reply to Cinnamon Lake’s 126 in 34 overs all out the winners made 127 for 2.
The man-of-the-match award went to Cinnamon Grand’s Dimutha Fernando from housekeeping. He also won the Trophy awarded to the Best Batsman. Sasindu Madusanka from Grand’s F&B Banquets was the ‘best bowler’.
