Hemas Hospitals opens fully fledged medical laboratory in Kurunegala
View(s):Hemas Hospitals recently opened a new lab in Kurunegala, a fast developing region in the northwest province.
The new lab located at 140/C, Colombo Road, Kurunegala is the 14th lab that comes under the wings of the satellite laboratory network owned and managed by Hemas Hospitals. The hospital company said that the lab, which is fully equipped with the state-of-the-art technology and manned with academically and professionally qualified staff with SLMC registration, is capable of performing a wide range of laboratory investigations necessary for patient care. Investigations carried out by Hemas Hospital laboratory are scrutinized by an eminent panel of pathological consultants, it said.
Dayasiri Jayasekara, Chief Minister-North Western Province, gracing the occasion as the chief guest said, “Improved healthcare facilities is a yardstick used in measuring development of any area.
