Semasinghe heads Kurunegala Umpires
S.B.N.S.K. Semasinghe and K.A.N. Namal Kumara were elected as President and Secretary respectively at the 16th Annual General Meeting of the Association of Cricket Umpires (Kurunegala branch ) held at Gold Star Hotel premises in Wariyapola under the patronage of Sirosha Gunatillake the President of the Association of Cricket Umpires in Sri Lanka and Saman Hewawitharana the Assignment secretary of the ACUSL.
The following were elected as office bearers for the year 2014/15: Patron – M.M.T. Bandara (former president and senior umpire), President – S.B.N.S.K. Semasinghe, Vice Presidents – K.P.L. Sisira Kumara, G.M.S.W.K. Gaspe, Secretary – K.A.N. Namal Kumara, Assistant Secretary – A.M.J.S. Wijetunga, Treasurer – B.M.A.M. Silva, Assistant Treasurer – T.M.J.P.K.
