“The president came last year and promised us proper roadways and electricity, however to date no action has been taken to fulfill this promise” said R.M Rathnayake, a villager.

A group of politicians from the ruling party, campaigning for the forthcoming Uva Provincial Council elections, brought a transformer to the village; however no further steps have been taken to supply power to the houses.

The village is located approximately nine km away from Passara and Lunugala areas in the Badulla district.
