Royal College Basketball Court refurbished
View(s):The unveiling of the refurbished Royal College Basketball Court took place on Friday, July 25. This project which included resurfacing of the basketball courts, upgrading to fiber boards and rings as well as replacing the lighting of the court was completed under the direction of the Royal College Union Basketball Advisory and Management Committee (RCUBAMC).
The ceremony organised by the RCUBAMC included an exhibition match between the old boys’ team and present team of the Royal College and handing over of medals to the Royal College Under-19 teams of 2013 and 2014. The ceremony was also organised to recognise the achievement of PMSC Senarath for representing the National Team and in appreciation of retired Assistant Principal of sports M.T.A. Rauf. The event also included handing of basketballs and table equipment to the development of the college basketball.
