View(s): Sportec Sports Club registered their second win in the Matara District Inter Club Division III Cricket Tournament by downing Rahula Sports Club by nine wickets. The match was played at the Senanayake grounds in Weligama.
Being invited to bat first Rahula SC were bundled out for 76 runs in 22 overs. Priyantha Uyanahewa 4/13 and Yasiru Hewanadugala 3/15 were the successful bowlers.
Sportec SC scored the winning runs in 14, overs for the loss of one wicket. Iresh Priyantha was unbeaten on 46 (8 boundaries) while Dishan Indika scored 17 runs.
