View(s):French film ‘Lucie Aubrac’ film directed by Claude Berry, a love story or a tale of the resistance will be screened at 3 pm on August 12 and August 13 at 6.30 pm at the auditorium of Alliance Française de Colombo.
This 2007 war biopic drama movie tells both the haunting story of a French resistance cell in Lyon but also the love of Lucie Aubrac for her husband, and the lengths she goes to rescue her husband from prison on more than one occasion. Based on a true story Lucie Aubrac works as both history lesson and love story.
