Patchwork & Needlecraft Competition/Exhibition
View(s):Daisy Vittachi will hold the 22nd All Island Patchwork & Needlecraft Competition/Exhibition on August 23 and 24 at the J.R. Jayewardene Centre, Colombo 7.
On display will be over 20 unique bedrooms and baby rooms, table decor, quilts, cushion covers, embroidery work and many other fascinating craft items. Attractive trophies and prizes will be awarded to the ‘Anchor Queen’ courtesy of Coat Thread Lanka and the “Arpico Queen” courtesy of Arpico furniture. In addition, Daisy will be giving away the “Patchwork Queen” award to a lucky participant. Each participant will receive a certificate of participation.
There will also be a display of Christmas decorations which will be made available on-order and sale of sewing kits, thread, craft books and many other craft items. Coats Thread Lanka will be conducting an “Anchor-On-The-Spot” competition and the winner will receive a gift from Coats Thread Lanka.
The exhibition will be open from 9.30 a.m. to 5.30 p.m. on both days.
