Danga Malla comes to Borella

Nalaka Swarnathilake’s award winning play “Danga malla saha Amuthu Iskoole”will be staged on Sunday August 31 at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm at the YMBA Theatre, Borella. An adoption of the book “The naughtiest girl in the School” written by the famous children’s writer Enid Blyton, the play has been adored by both children and elder audiences. Translated by Ganga Niroshani Suduwelikanda, the play consists of 20 child artistes. The main character is played by Nelissa Algama while Kusum Renu, Ramani Siriwardena, Nilmini Sigera, Malkanthi Jayasinghe and Sanjeewa Upendra join the child cast.
Music composition by Nuwan Vithanage, choreography by Harshika Rathnayake, make up by Bhanu Prasanna, lighting by Ranga Samarakoon and stage management of the play is by Asoka Weerathunga. Organized by Jude Srimal, tickets are available at the Sarasavi Book Shop – Nugegoda, Sadeepa Book Shop – Borella and Shakya Book Shop-Battaramulla.
