After only being operational for three months it is certainly a noteworthy accomplishment that website of Reefs Edge Hotel, at Uswetakeiyawa has been awarded the merit award for one of the three best hotel websites in the country.
“BestWeb.lk 2014” is a unique and innovative competition organized by the LK Domain Registry for the fifth time to recognise the best websites in Sri Lanka. The participants of the competition were judged on both creativity and technical achievement. The Panel of Judges comprising of industry experts in their respective fields with broad web expertise and ability to spot talent were tasked with judging the websites. The public too contributed by voting for their favourite site. The competition saw over 30 categories that were judged under strict criteria for over 2 months out of which Reefs Edge was given an award in the Travel and Tourism sector, superseding 29 other industry competitors.

The IPTVs come packed with movies on demand and the latest games available to keep all ages entertained.The hotel spokesperson emphasized the investment on the IT of the hotel such as Opera, Micros, Microsoft Navi and IPTV Hotel Solution from Sweden as the launching pad for this award. The hotel operations team includes experienced hoteliers of the country and are endeavouring to showcase an international standard hotel with Sri Lankan hospitality.The holding company of Reefs Edge, the Edge Leisure has approved plans for Corals Edge at Parrot Junction in Ambalangoda and Lakes Edge by the Nuwara Eliya Lake spillover. Both these properties would be 35 roomed luxury hotels that would go into construction within the next 6 months.
