The Lavinia Signature riders visit the iconic Mount Lavinia Hotel
View(s):The Harley Davidson Street Thunder Ride which commenced on August 8 concluded with the Harley Davidson ‘Street Thunder Beach party’ at the Paradise beach of Mount Lavinia Hotel. August 15 which was also the last leg of the tour, ‘The Lavinia Signature ride’ the riders travelled from Bentota to Mount Lavinia, to be warmly welcomed by the hotel and Chief Guest the Mayor of Dehiwela – Mount Lavinia, Dhanasiri Amaratunga followed by the loud rumble of the pots and pans of the kitchen brigade of the hotel.

Mount Lavinia Hotel which was the final host to the street thunder riders is one of the oldest and most important surviving colonial buildings in Sri Lanka; it is one of the few remaining heritage buildings that bear a testimony to the legacy left by the British during their period of rule.
