A leading voice of classical carnatic
View(s):Renowned Indian Carnatic vocalist T.V.Ramprasadh and his troupe will present a concert on Wednesday, August 27 at 6 p.m. at the Indian Cultural Centre auditorium, 16/2, Gregory’s Road, Colombo 7.
The concert is presented by the Indian Cultural Centre, Colombo in collaboration with the India Sri Lanka Foundation.
A prominent Carnatic classical vocalist, whose uncompromising adherence to tradition and unique style have earned him much appreciation, T.V. Ramprakash has performed in USA, UK, Germany, France, Poland, Austria, Singapore and Malaysia.
Ramprasad has composed music for documentary films and dance productions. His audio albums have been released on several labels such as Kosmic music, Music Today, HMV, Times Music, Amutham INC of USA, Lahari, Sangeetha etc.
He will also conduct a Carnatic vocal workshop at 10 a.m. on August 27 at Saraswathie Hall, Lorensz Road,Colombo 4.
