Large numbers of entries expected for Golf tourney
View(s):A large number of entries are expected for the annual HSBC Premier Golf Tournament which has been planned for September 6 at the Nuwara Eliya Golf Club.
This year’s winner will get a chance to witness the HSBC WGC Champions Golf Tournament, scheduled to take place at the Sheshan International Golf Club in Shanghai, China from November 6 to 9.
The tournament will kick off with a pre-event at 6.00pm on September 5, which will be the first of its kind in Sri Lanka. HSBC Premier golfers will be able to test their skills of accuracy with only a driver. In addition a putting competition will also be organised for all family members of players.
Last year’s winner Niloo Jayatilleke will be eager to retain the HSBC Challenge Trophy when the tournament tees off in two weeks time.
