Saudi firm, key sponsor of Sri Lankan Plastics exhibition

Saudi-based TASNEE (National Petrochemical Industrialisation Marketing Co), was the platinum sponsor for the second edition of Sri Lanka Plastics Exhibition—International Plastics Exhibition, which was held from August 14–16 in Colombo.

The exhibition was organised by Enterprising Fairs (India) Pvt. Ltd. (EFIPL) in collaboration with the Plastics and Rubber Institute of Sri Lanka (PRISL). The event was also supported and endorsed by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce and the Central Institute of Plastics Engineering and Technology (CIPET).

“TASNEE believes that Sri Lanka Plast 2014 provided an effective platform for them to reach out to a wider audience in creating awareness about their expansive product portfolio,” the company said.

TASNEE currently has a worldwide presence with manufacturing capacity of 1.5 million tons of Polypropylene and Polyethylene per year. It is one of the largest producers of petrochemical products in Saudi Arabia.
