Maharoof leads Unichela to victory
MAS Unichela (Pvt) Ltd., bagged their fourth MCA Cricket title in the current season when they emerged as the winners at the QP Employment (Pvt) Ltd., sponsored, MCA Tier ‘A’ Hardball Cricket Sixes, concluded at the MCA grounds last Sunday.
MAS Unichela ‘A’ led by Farveez Maharoof beat MAS Active Trading , led by Angelo Perera in the Final.

MAS Unichela earlier on won the MCA Premier League and the Knockout and also the Tier ‘A’ Twenty20 Super Tournament.
In the Tier ‘B’ final which followed on the MCA matting, Colombo Dockyard beat LB Finance.
The tournament attracted 12 teams to the Tier ‘A’ and 34 teams to Tier ‘B’
The preliminary round matches were conducted last Saturday, at MCA, DSS andThurstan College grounds and continued on Sunday from quarter-finals onwards at MCA and Thurstan College grounds.
