prevailed over Old Bens BC by 64 points to 55 in a Carlton Cup Super Eight basketball match at the Henry Pedris Park. At the end of the first quarter, Colombo BC led 21-9 and at half time they were still ahead with 33 -21. When the whistle was blown at the end of the third quarter both sides were on level at 41 points.
For Colombo BC the leading scorer was Z. Krupskis with 22 points who also had 21 rebounds.
For Old Bens BC, R. Fernamdo led the scoring with 14 points, while P. Ganlath added 13 and G. Croos had 12 rebouds. – BM
