Spark Electric Vehicles launches World Ozone Day offer
View(s):Local electric automobiles importer Spark Electric Vehicles (SEV) recently launched two initatives in line with September 16′s World Ozone Day. The first was a customer promotion, in partnership with Orient Finance, whereby potential customers are offered the chance to trade-in their cars for a part amount that goes towards the purchase value of a Nissan Leaf, Mitsubishi MiEV and BMW i3, available with SEV.
The other initiative by SEV, this time in association with local FedEx licensee, Mountain Hawk Express, entailed a pledge by the courier company that its “fleet of diesel vans will be converted to electric vehicles courtesy of Spark. As such, one electric vehicle has been purchased and is currently being operated as the pilot project of this initiative”, according to an announcement.
Meanwhile, the announcement also noted that the “three institutions take pride in establishing this special project where they aim to educate the general public about eco-friendly transportation technologies that are available. These options are made available through global technological advancements and will encourage customers to convert to the utilisation of eco-friendly energy sources”. (JH)
