Sam flies to USA

Sing-along Maestro –‘Sam The Man’ left our shores last week on yet another tour of the USA. The vetaran band leader, saxophonist and entertainer Sam will be away for about a couple of weeks, rocking the West coast of the USA. Incidentally this is his sixth visit to the US. Having performed in New York, Washington DC, New Jersey, Los Angeles, Pasadena and Arizona, Sam is one of the most widely traveled entertainers in Sri Lanka.
On his return, a Sing Along concert, ‘Moonlight & Roses’ will be held at the D.B.U. in Colombo on the 25th October. The Thomain Sing-along will also be held on the 15th of November and this will be followed by yet another sing-along of the Lions Club of Nugegoda Central.
‘I think I have become the top man to perform in this ‘sing –along’ parties which was introduced to Sri Lanka about a decade ago’ he said.
Sam performs with his band every Saturday at the Blue Water in Wadduwa, Sundays at the Grand Oriental Hotel in Colombo Fort and on Mondays at the popular Terrace of the Mount Lavinia Hotel.
