Perine’s new collection at CC
View(s):Edgy, sophisticated and effortlessly chic was the order of the day when Perine Fernando launched her second collection earlier this month at Cotton Collection. The informal gathering was the perfect backdrop for the former runway model’s ‘Perine for Coco’ collection, which she introduced together with Cotton Collection Managing Director Niloufer Anverally. “Perine’s collection embodies the essence of the Cotton Collection brand,” said Anverally. “Perine for Coco is perfect for energised and free spirited women who want to stand out and shine in both fashion and life.”
Perine, now based in New York, was discovered by a Swiss agency at the age of 16 and travelled the world modelling on the catwalks of Paris, Milan, Tokyo, Madrid and London for some of the world’ best designers. Her collection, as she shared at the launch, was targeted at the working woman seeking both convenience and style. “I’m a busy mom and know how difficult it can get to find clothes that can transition from work to play easily,” she said. “This collection is sophisticated, but practical and can be mixed and matched easily with different pieces.”
