Mathura Steels, established on October 5, 1992 at Old Moor street, Colombo 12 completes 22 years in operation.

The company, in a media release, said it is engaged in importing and marketing engineering, construction and hardware materials to the Sri Lankan market. Founding brothers, G. Parinathan and G. On returning to Sri Lanka in the latter part of the eighties, both of them started their career by working in the hardware industry.

In 1992, they started Mathura Steels as a trading company where products were sourced from the market place itself.

“Over the years they established contacts with reliable sources from Malaysia, India, China, Singapore Taiwan, UK and Spain and today they import and supply a wide range of products required by the industry,” the release said.

In 2011, Mathura Steels was awarded with the prestigious ISO 9002 – 2008 certification.
