The library of the British Council was a swarm of excited young winners of the bi-annual Reading Challenge organized by the British Council. With around 150 young readers between the ages of  7 to 15 the participants revel in reading under the theme “Mythical Maze”.

The lucky winners were treated to workshops conducted by Gratien award winning writer Prashani Rambukwella who took the youngsters on an adventure from her book “Asiri’s Quest.” Connected to the adventure of Mythil and his  invisible ‘Yaka’, Asiri renowned cartoonist  Gihan De Chickera helped the participants bring to life their own illustrations with an interactive drawing session.
