New Committee for CHSGA
View(s):Eksath Wijeratne, the GM of Eden Hotel and Spa was appointed as the new President of Ceylon Hotel School Graduates Association for the year 2014/2015 at their recently concluded 43rd AGM.
The new office bearers of CHSGA are- the President Eksath Wijeratne, Vice Presidents Sanjeeva Perera and Dhaithya Krawage, General Secretary Priyal Perera, Treasurer Priyan Wijeratne, Immediate Past President B H R Sariffodeen and Editor Prasanna De Mel, while the AGM committee chaired by Niroshan de Silva and supported by Sarath Fernando, Trevine Gomes, S Anandaraj and Sisitha Weerasekara.
This year the event was held under the patronage of Chief Guest Paddy Withrana and Dr Don S. Jayaweera as the Guest of honour. Also the event was well participated by over 300 members and their families.
At present CHSGA membership is over 1300 members consisting Fellow, Member, Licentiate and Associate. Under the able leadership of Eksath Wijeratne the President together with all the executive committee members the association has immensely contributed to the professional development of the leisure industry in Sri Lanka. The founder President of the CHSGA was Malin Hapugoda.
