Sing Along with ‘The Spirit’
View(s):A special ‘Sing-along’ evening, called ‘Shravaka Sande Miyesiya’ organized by the St. Matthias Church Disciple Union of Moratuwa will be held on Saturday, 18th October from 6.30 pm, at the church parish hall.
The show will feature several well known performers, including Anil Bharathi, Sureshni Wanigasooriya of ex-X’ Periments, Shenya Napthalie and the choir of ‘Priests’ the very first choir that consists only reverends.
Music from the late 60’s 70’s and 80’s will be played on this evening such as the greatest hits by Marie Osmand, Jim Reeves, John Denver , Elvis Presley ,Sunil Shantha, C.T. Fernando, La Ceylonians, Los Flamencos, Winslow Six etc. Music will be provided by the band, ‘Spirit’ led by Luckey Deva.
The proceeds of this concert will be channeled to celebrate the 2nd year of the St. Matthias Disciple Union. There will also be musical games and lot of prizes and surprises.
