Windies implode in Delhi
View(s):Virat Kohli 62, Suresh Raina 62 and skipper Mahendra Sing Dhoni 51 hit half centuries while left arm spinner Ravindra Jadeja bagged 3 for 44 to guide India to a 48 run victory in their second One Day International against West Indies at Feroz Shah Kotla in New Delhi, yesterday.
Batting first India scored 263 for 7 in their allotted 50 overs with the help of the three half centuries while fast bowler Jerome Taylor bowled best for the West Indies with figures of 3 for 54.
At one stage it looked like the visitors were racing to an 2-0 series tally with opener Dwayne Smith (97) and Kieron Pollard (40) collering the Indian attack, but, after Smith was bowled, Shami three runs short of his century, the West Indian inning imploded and crashed from 3 for 170 to 215 all out.
