India issues Dharmapala stamp

To commemorate the 150th birth anniversary of Anagarika Dharmapala, India will issue a stamp on October 25 in New Delhi. Indian High Commission Spokesperson Esha Srivastava told the Sunday Times the stamp would be issued by Indian President Pranab Mukherjee. Sri Lanka last month issued a stamp honouring the great Buddhist revivalist and national leader.
