Management changes at Nestlé Lanka
View(s):Ganesan Ampalavanar, currently Managing Director of Nestlé Lanka PLC, will assume the position of Managing Director of Nestlé – Vietnam with effect from February 1, 2015, according to a company announcement this week.
He will be succeeded by Ms. Shivani Hegde, presently Business Executive Manager – Food, India, who has been appointed Managing Director for Sri Lanka, from next February.
Mr. Ampalavanar joined Nestlé in his home country of Malaysia as a Management Trainee in 1991. His career covered increasingly responsible roles in Marketing and Sales, culminating in his appointment as Sales Director in Malaysia in 2003. In March 2008, he moved to the South Asia Region as Head of Sales.
