Bollywood comedy thriller in many theatres

Bollywood action comedy ‘Happy New Year’ starring Shahrukh Khan, Deepika Padukone and Abhishek Bachchan will be screened at a number of leading theatres in Colombo and the outstations from October 24.
The film will be screened in Colombo at Platinum Majestic Cineplex, Liberty Lite Kollupitiya(two shows), Savoy Cinema – Colombo (Limited Engagement), Empire Deluxe – Colombo, Cine City – Colombo (Tamil Version) and in the outstations Sky Lite – Matara, Don Plaza – Kalutara, Milano –Cinema Kegalle and MC –Jaffna (Tamil Version).
Directed by Farah Khan and produced by Gauri Khan under the banner of Red Chillies Entertainment, ‘Happy New Year’ is also played by Boman Irani, Vivaan Shah, Sonu Sood and Jackie Shroff.
The film revolves around a gang of six Indians, Charlie, Nandu, Jag, Tammy, Mohini and Rohan who plan to pull off a daring stunt and are on a Happy New Year mission. With Charlie (Played by SRK) as the gang’s frontman, the first half of the film is narrated by Shah’s character the computer hacker.
Charlie explains that the movie is about the world’s biggest heist. He is the brain behind the operation that brings together ‘losers’ from different places with their own areas of expertise.
