Combined international schools’ Xl for Murali Cup
View(s):A combined team representing the International Schools of Sri Lanka (TISSL) will feature at the upcoming Murali Harmony Cup 2014 for the first time. Selections were done as for the performances of the concluded Under-19 Inter-International Schools Cricket Tournament and other tournaments of this season. The squad comprises of players from 11 different International schools, and some have played at district level, according to the team management headed by Sajith Liyanage.
The team will be led by Rahil Atheeq, who is the First XI skipper of Lyceum International School Wattala. The squad includes players from Lyceum International Schools of Wattala and Panadura, Asian International School, Gateway Colleges of Colombo and Kandy, Wycherley International School, Royal Institute, British School of Colombo and Alethea International School.
