Thinetha TV expands coverage
View(s):“Thinetha” Satellite TV Channel which is currently on Apstair 7 satellite, has expanded its transmission/coverage with Eutelsat 70 covering Asia, Middle East, Europe and Africa. The specialty of making these arrangements is to increase the viewership as the New Satellite transmission can be received through the smallest size of the dish from 65-80cm.
After the signing of the agreement with Horizon Sat which followed a number of successful test transmissions, the transmission with the new satellite started from November 1. Everyday throughout the week a teledrama will be telecast on Thinetha TV.
The new venture was signed between Rohan Welivita, chairman, Thinetha TV, and Hisham Ansari, Chief Executive Officer of Horizon Sat, Dubai in the United Arab Emirates.
