Optima clients win international awards
View(s):Optima Designs said this week it was proud to be part of the success of Expolanka Holdings PLC and People’s Leasing and Finance PLC, winners at the recently concluded Spotlight Awards Global Communications Competition by the League of American Communications Professional (LACP) for outstanding annual reports.
Amongst the 800 entries that were submitted from more than a dozen countries, Optima Designs garnered two spots in the top 100 world rankings and is especially privileged to be the only Sri Lankan entity to be thus awarded this year. The reports, ‘Look|See’ by Expolanka and ‘The Choice of the People’ by People’s Leasing and Finance highlight the best in creativity and content, and has been widely lauded for its brilliance amongst the likes of global giants such as the Coca-Cola Company, Airbus Defense and Space, Samsung Engineering and Hyundai Engineering and Construction, the company said in a media release.
People’s Leasing and Finance were awarded in following categories – Competition Class of Print Annual Reports, Asia Pacific – Gold Award; Most Creative Annual Report (Worldwide Special Achievement Award) – Silver Award; Ranked among the Worldwide Top 100 communication materials – Ranked at No 26; while Expolanka claimed the 24th spot amongst the top 100 world rankings, winning a Gold Award for excellence within its competition class as well as a Silver Award for the ‘Best Narrative’.
