THE LOUSY T-SHIRT
View(s):THE LOUSY T-SHIRT
A veteran athlete who visited the Land of the Cherry Blossom Tree recently was caught shop lifting and she was hauled before the authorities. Practically the whole team went to her rescue and managed to settle the affair, most probably by paying a hefty fee. Can you guess what she had shoplifted? It was a Tee-Shirt! All the effort of her teammates was to get her acquitted for a lousy T-Shirt!
A PROFITABLE BUSINESS
It is a well known fact that a big inquiry is going on regarding the behavior of certain officials and a women’s cricket team. While this is going on another inquiry is being done on a certain official who has been selling certain goods to the place this official is heavily involved in. The big question is can he sell stuff to this sports body where he is an official? After all he also happens to own the sports shop that is involved. So why not sell the stuff and be done with it and make a profit in the process as well!
NIGHT CLUBBING TO HER HEART’S DESIRE
A top athlete was sent to England for further training so that she can do better at future meets. It is now learnt that she has been having a ball by attending night clubs and behaving in a ‘not so well’ manner. The fact is that she had been sent to England on the country’s expenditure so that she can do better in the sport that she is involved in. Now the cat is out of the bag. Who will bear her expenses in Ole Blighty now? Will she have to pay all expenses back?
MIND YOUR OWN BUSINESS
There is this official who often attacks the head of this particular sports body. The fact is that he who does the attacking is the head of a sports body down South but this particular sports body has not been active for the past nine years! Wouldn’t it be better if he can settle his own affairs rather than interfere in someone else’s business?
MISSING
It has now come to light that 25 athletes who visited the Land of Cherry Blossoms are missing. What happened to them? This is the big question.
This has not come to light so far and what are the authorities concerned doing.
It looks strict supervision has to be taken in future to all sports tours abroad.
