‘Funny Money’ at the Wendt

“Saadaya maarai, salli hamarai,” the Sinhala adaptation of British playwright Ray Cooney’s ‘Funny Money’ the newest stage satire directed by cinema, teledrama and theatre actor Dharmapriya Dias will go on the boards on December 7 at the Lionel Wendt at 3. 30 and 7.00 pm.
The star studded cast includes Gihan Fernando, Jayani Senanayake, Giriraj Kaushalya, Anuradha Perera, Dayadewa Edirisinghe, Prem Jayantha Kapuge, Aloka Perera and Anuradha Mallawaarachchi. With stage lighting, set designing and make up by Ranga Samarakone, Wasantha Ratnayake and Prem Jayantha Kapuge respectively, Gihan Fernando handles costume designs and Aruna Jayasena the stage management.
With Ruwan Walpola’s music the play is produced by Priyankara de Silva. All seats are box planned and tickets available at the theatre.
